I can't walk!! is it normal??

I was at a football game last night and I was walking around with my friends through the crowd. I walked past a few little kids crying (maybe they were between 10 & 12) and this woman was saying how they had gotten stung by "something". Well as soon as I walk past I get stung on the back of my ankle and it hurt like crazy. On a scale of 1-10 I would have to say the pain was a 9. Not only did the sting itself hurt for hours, but the pain radiated up and down my Achilles, into my foot and up my calf. I didn't swell up, but I woke up this morning and I can't walk on that foot because it still hurts. It's been about 24 hours and I'm still in pain. What did I get stung by, what should I do and is this normal?

    If you live in Canada, where health care is free, I would see a doctor, if your in the US I would look it up on the internet.

    I agree with everyone who is saying that you should go see a doctor. That sounds really scary...at first I thought it was a bee, and there's a possibility, but most likely not...

    Prolly a scorpion I had stepped on a scorpion three days before last day of school and my foot was purple and swelled up and was numb but that was four years ago

    What the hell? Go to the doctor! I never heard of anything like that...thats kinda scary. If you continue to sit around the house...who knows what could happen to you...
