I can't stop thinking about him

So, I just started college like three weeks ago and while shopping for my books I met this guy. I spoke to him for about ten minutes about like what program he's in and such. But I never even got his name and now I can't get him out of my head. I've been seeing him everywhere around school and he has one class right after mine on wednesday mornings.. I always catch him turning around to stare at me.. He's super cute. Anyways.. Now I can't stop thinking about him and idek his name, or if he's single or whatever. Its driving me nuts I can't even strike up a conversation with him again. Is this normal and does he sound interested in me?

This story is like identical to my story with a guy I met in my first semester. Same exact thing happened. We were getting books, and while we were waiting on line we just started talking. Except we told each other our names right off the bat. We ended up becoming good friends. But I left the college, and actually, we both kinda ended up going our seperate ways. But sometimes I think about him and wonder how hes doing.

Anyway, I think the next time you see him, say something. Strike up a conversation and eventually ask him for his name. Just walk up to him and be like; "Hey, I remember you from the book store!" or I don't know, something like that. Or maybe, "Hey, small world, I keep running into you everywhere. And I never got your name...". Blah. I don't know. You'll figure out something good to say.

  • Why is it that when a girl is always interested in a guy, she thinks someone looking at you means "they're interested"?

Ugh. Not motivated enough to get in to it, to be honest.

Ignore him, I'm pretty sure the guy is interested if he's staring back at you.

We know in our hearts when someone likes us, we just refuse to accept the signals.

Sometimes it's subconscious. It's like this girl who used to stare at me in my sociology class. Each time I'd ask her out, she'd say she had a boyfriend. Then just kept staring at me again.

I think she wanted me but had a sense of loyalty to her boyfriend. I should've talked to her more openly about it, because I was really attracted to her also.

If he's staring at you, he's probably interested. It's way easier for a girl to pick up a guy so go for it if you like him. We will date most girls. If she's not cute/hot, we'd at least use her for sex.

Reminds me of my 1st year in university, this beautiful girl used to check me out often-but neither of us made the first move. Now I regret not asking her out.

But there were dozens of opportunities like that I passed up on. Part of the problem was that I was too focused on my difficult degree to think about relationships.

Of course I did date some girls at the time but I mean I could've dated many more if I had decided to jump on those opportunities. I regret not doing it.

He's probably feeling the same thing that you're feeling. Try to gain the courage to talk to him, and if you don't, maybe he will.
