I can't stand young children.

I tend to try to avoid "family places". Whenever I'm out somewhere and there are very young children, I immediately just feel irritated. I can't stand when they whine, scream, and run around until they break something or run into someone. Their parents seem to act like everyone else should be charmed by their little brat, and usually don't bother keeping their kid from coming up and pestering me. And it's not like they listen to their parents anyway.
I can't even go out to dinner someplace nice without some screaming two year old giving me a headache until I have my meal boxed up to go. They ruin everything. Is it normal to be this annoyed by children?

Yaaa, it is very annoying but don't hate the kid. It's the parents fault. Especially these days. I see it everywhere too and I just want to shake the parents til their fuckin head falls off.

I remember when I was a senior in high school and there were waves of tiny fucking squeakers clogging up the corridors, constantly, when I'd try to get somewhere. Another annoying place to find them is on YouTube, trying to watch an informative video on a certain subject and another fucking squeaker pops up.
And there's also the ones that run around with iPhone 6s's - spoilt brats, what are their parents doing? And the ones that just give me that stare as if I'm a massive walking piece of fucking fudge -this one kid just didn't take his eyes off me for several minutes, like some reverse paedophile or something. So yeah, children can be annoying.

Yes god forbid I go try to see a rated R movie at 10pm and not have to deal with the back of my seat being kicked. Because what right minded adult bothers with a babysitter?

      Reading comprehension.
I'll refer you to the very first sentence of the post (about avoiding family places....)
Or did your attention span already call it quits by that point?

I'd say it's normal. I'm basically exactly the same. There's nothing more irritating when you want to go out and enjoy yourself, yet, you never seem to due to screeching children. I'm seriously glad that I'm not the only one on the planet that gets over-irritated by them.

I don't suppose I hate kids. As long as they keep a good distance I'm okay with 'em.

....And yes, lol... I fully realize that I wasa child myself at one time. (I'm sure I was totally annoying when I was that age.) But, it's been thirty years, and the little bastards irritate the hell out of me now.
Even as I type this, I can hear my neighbor's kids screaming bloody murder as they run around aimlessly being shitheads.
Considering buying a very large snake to set free outside (Big enough to swallow a pig.. Or a toddler.)

My best friend's daughter irritates me. Whenever I'm speaking to my friend, her daughter tends to interrupt us by over talking to us or yelling out for attention. My best friend's mother own a day care and when we visit the grandmother, the daughter tends to bossy with the other children. If the kids don't go by what she say, the daughter gets butt hurt. The world doesn't revolve around you princess. I under stand children need attention but as adults we have to teach children about manners. I hope my future child isn't like this, then again it's just a phase children go through. Children are born to be bad, they weren't taught.

why do they always smell like ketchup?
    God i hate kids!!!!
when i go to hell its gonna filled with a thousand screaming sticky little bastards!
i blame parents who think there kids are special but the fact is they dont even teach them to look both ways before crossing the street or basic manners but yet every parents thinks their kid is a genius when the fact is they're just as dumb as every other kid!

Also... It's not just limited to strangers' children. Some of my closest friends have kids, and I avoid going to visit them at home at all cost. If they attempt to "drop by" with their brats in tow, I pretend Im not home. There is nothing worse than having my things messed with. And I definitely never ever ever want my own.
I don't like that I feel like this, and I've really tried to be more tolerant... I just can't seem to help it, they piss me off.
