I can't stand people who believe in religions
I can't even talk to them
I feel that they abuse people and they are also abused but they accept it
there is no prove that even one religion is right .. they just go with the religion that their parents had .. and still .. they hate everybody who don't follow them .. and they think that they are the right ones
this is stupid !!

        Well, all the religious people I know are tolerant and not abusive. Some kinda Sexist, racist, homophobic and racist but they don't kill children.

        I don't know what kind of monster religious people you know.

        Religion is harmful, but not all religious people are bad. Lots of Christians do great stuff, same with other religions.

        Others are close-minded, like you. I avoid those.

        I quote: "they hate everybody who don't follow them .. and they think that they are the right ones".

    I think one must educate his/herself before making assumptions on the rest of the globe.

    A) you're probably less than 18 years old which means that you're unable to focus on meaningful subjects (you can't think of anything outside of sex or the acne on your face)
    B) religion (regardless of type) is known to help guide people into a moral lifestyle and helps people to overcome sin because it helps to build a moral code of conduct
    C) Hate is in a person regardless of religion, and by absolutely NO means, helps to exacerbate the persons feeling of hate
    D) Many people convert to religion, such as myself becoming a Sikh, and have never known anybody in my family to do so
    E) I think you need to educate yourself and not be so ignorant(thus making you arrogant)

      b)most of people follow the religion that thier parents had and if you don't know that .. this your problem

    While you are clearly close-minded, you are also clearly right. Religion IS stupid. If you open your mind you will be more tolerant, and you'll still know that religion is stupid.

    Also, religion is defined as "a belief in a deity, higher being or the suoernatural". Atheism is not, because it is the absense of these things.

    So your first question when you meet someone is: are you religious? If they say no, they're your best friend? The only time I can't stand it is when someone is trying to preach me or tell me to believe in something or else I'm bad. Don't fucking feed me shit I don't fucking care about.

    It really has nothing to do with you. Religious or not hate inside of a person (like you) only means that you are insecure and disappointed in yourself whether you realize it or not. You also could be subconsciously jealous that those religious people have a group that they belong to and you are just lonely and mean. Bottom line - no it's not normal to hate people that have absolutely nothing to do with you unless you have some serious underlying problems.

    You sound kinda ignorant. Religion means believing in something. Atheism is a religion, because you believe there is no god. So basically everybody has some kind of religion.

      You say that if we believe in something, that is religion. Then if I believe in ghosts, aliens, unicorns, or the yeti, Would that make me religious?

      And does this apply if I believe in my self? Or if I'm a materialist? Is that a religion?

          I don't think I was talking to you but, well... I don't know if you are an atheist or an anti-religious believer but let me tell you this:

          A lion learns from his/her mother almost everything. without the teachings of the mother, he could die. It's logical he won't hunt without learning it. He won't learn about the danger of snakes or Other animals.

          Humans, we as babies try yo swallow every bit of information from our older relatives, we adopt customs, ethics, emotions, and physical activities.
          Don't forget religion or non religion.

          If your parents are anti-religious and if you were born in an anti-religious family, you probably will be anti-religious. Same happens with racism, politics, sexism an others "opinions".

          If someone is anti-religious because of their family, would they be stupid like you say? Anti-religious like you. Would it be stupid to adopt the family's opinions about religion?

    i've seen this happen before....a man walked into one of those catholic booths for forgiveness...he said" please forgive me fathe for i have sinnes, yesterday i raped a girl" the preacher said " say 2 hail marrys and you will be forgiven"...... what....the fuck.....hell no, religion is nothing more then a waste of money, a scapegoat, an automaticlly abused thing when your "in need", and some religions in reality condone the worst things imaginable. the christianic god condones slavery, murder, prostitution, and he's a narcicist. i just don't think a drunk carpenter got on a boat with BILLIONS of animals, god made that family inbreed after getting off, and that's where rainbows come from!!! religion.....is so wrong....

    Let people believe what they want to believe. Talk to them about your beliefs, but don't force it upon others. If they believe in something different, who cares. They might be wrong to YOU. But it's making them happy or have a purpose to try harder in this world full of suffering. Just leave it be.

    Okay well first off, I guess some religions are like that but not all. For instance, I'm Catholic and we don't care if no one follows our way. It is their choice. If they don't want to join, so be it. So you shouldn't hate all religious people. I am NO WHERE near religious but my Nonna is and she doesn't care if I'm not religious at all. Its my choice. But I see where your coming from but before you say anything, just think about the other religions.

    Oh and chewy and Geneva ^, get over your self if you dont believe in God then whatever. You dont have t be so FUCKING harsh about it. No offence but I hope you regret the day you end up in Hell.

    And katy, for whatever ur parents religion is, you could just believe in God, that's it. Like me, I dont pray (couldnt be bothered...) or go to church. In fact none of my entire family does except for my Nonna but yeah.

    My point is not all religions are bad like Catholic, Christian...ect I hope you see it my way. I saw all of ur harsh comments and I didnt want to sound that way.

    What religous people don't understand is that to be a non-believer is to be open-minded. Looking for answers to the mysteries of the world is human nature. In absence of facts, picking one set of beliefs over any other, that is the real meaning of closing your mind.
