I can't stand overly nice people
I absolutely can not stand it when people act like nothing in the world is wrong and constantly have that corny glued on smile that is 0% genuine. Bugs the crap out of me. is it normal to feel this way?

I don't see the problem with people who are just...happy. I like to consider myself one of those people who is always smiling, not in a creepy way though. I think that that smiling can make you feel more relaxed in your environment as well as making those around you feel that way.
Well I think it depends on the person and the type of situation but I generally don't like overly nice people either. They either have an ulterior motive or have trouble expressing their anger. It depends what intention they have...
so you feel better about yourself when you make other people miserable? you have issues and i think you should talk to a doctor about it. try being happy for people who are happy. who knows, you might be happy one day too.
It's normal.
And a lot of times, people with the biggest smiles are the most devious people you'll ever meet. I've had a few interesting experiences where that happened.
There's nothing wrong with being happy, but when someone is OVERLY and EXTREMELY happy then it gets creepy. Its like their insane or something. I can't seem to trust those kinds of people. They seem fake.
I am one of those people who portrays to the world that im so happy with the oh-nothing-bothers-me-one-bit attitude. I agree with CR13 (64697). A smile makes others feel better. But maybe this is a way of a person protecting their hearts because of their past.
i hate it also but i dont want them to go away. So many people are aggresive in the world because the world has made them that way we need very nice people even if they are extremely anoying.
