I don't know what it is... And I know it's probelly wrong. But I can't stand old ppl. The way they think they are owed something because they are old...The way the move super slow at check out lines...And dear lord don't even get me started on they're driving...And they tip like it's still the 1920's...Like really... Anyone else feel this way?
I used to work at Panera bread and the old ppl were soooooo mean, but so were a lot of the "soccer mom" types were just as bad if not worse so i think it just depends on the person. i could never work in a nursing home or someplace where i had to deal exclusively with the elderly but some are really sweet. my Granny and my Na Na were both funny as hell and awesome.
they are stupid, and forgetfull. but mostly harmles and sweet. which is good. .. but once i was stuck in a room full of em. and one was picking her teeth and a huge strand of salaiva came from her mouth ... urgh i had to leave the room.
It is not old people in general I do not like but BITTER old people, who just want to be mean and look at you like you are supposed to take it because they are your elder. I mean the mean old people in line rushing you at the grocery store, or the mean ones who get attitudes with you when you ask a question at their job. Those types I hate. It is like kids. You can enjoy kids but not the obnoxious annoying ones. Same thing here, I like old people but I don't like bitter ones.
Well that's just rude one day you are going to be SUPER slow and have lines and slow driving and act like it the 2000's! So if I was you I would just shut my mouth and keep it to myself!

I don't like the elderly that stare you down or loo like there dead. Awkward.
What older adults are you hanging out with? Some older people are cheap and cantankerous but so are many young people. It depends on the individual. I'll admit they do tip pretty low but they do come from a time where money was a strict responsibility taught at a very young age (government assistance wasn't like it is today). I have been around some older people that are bossy and like to think they can tell you how to live but when I told them they hurt my feelings they were quick to apologize and said they were only trying to give me advice and that I was a 'sweet girl' and they didn't want me making the same mistakes other young people were. Other older people are really sweet and cute and just enjoy your company. I actually like listening to their stories as I love the clothing, conduct and automobiles of the 20's, 30's and 40's. Anyway, I understand if you've had bad experiences with older people, but try not to write them all off :)
You and I will be there eventually. The measure by which you hate them will be also visited upon you.
