I know some people who think that way, but frankly I think it's ridiculously superficial. It's fine if you don't want to date someone or hang out with someone outside your own 'type', but leave other people's relationships out of it. My boyfriends a chav by most standards (as are most of my friends), and whilst I'm not emo/goth I'm even further from being a chav, but I would never let that get in my way because he's the sweetest guy I've ever met.
And btw, clothes are rarely an accurate gauge of someone's musical preferences as most people listen to more than one type of music, js.

i know what a chav is, but all the rest i have trouble defining...i get labled about as emo, goth :S, skater (i love skating) and i wear studded belts n stuff... and somtimes i date chavs....its hard in my area to find ppl that are like you.. tbh, im too scared to go to other skate parks cos i dont want to be labled as a poser, i dont think theres anything wrong with dating ppl that arnt the same as you, you cant help who you like or who you go for, i like all sorts of ppl...just not nerds, or ppl my height (im short lawl) its not a big deal. can you tell me what a prep is, how youd describe an emo, goth, punk and scene kids are, cos i find it so hard to know because people have so many diferent opinions.
