I recently start dating and have come to the conclusion that i can't stand cuddling. Whenever i cuddle with someone i get this urge to be doing something (anything really) else. My mind starts to wander and i think about stuff i need to be getting done. I've always had a hard time just sitting and doing nothing whether it be sitting in class (unless i had a book/computer) sitting in church waiting etc. Is this normal?

    It sounds like you're the kind of person that always has to be doing something. You also seem to have trouble with physical contact, or just plain don't enjoy cuddling. I guess this would be a bad combo. Personally, when I go to people's houses, they'll be sitting around watching some idiotic show like judge Judy, or Maury, and I'm just thinking to myself, what is wrong with you?

    I don't have a problem just sitting and doing nothing, but I do have a problem with cuddling. I don't know why, but I'm sort of like that too. Its like I feel trapped.. especially if its with someone that I've just started dating who I'm not 'sure' about yet.

    If you just started dating this person, you could be nervous. Or maybe you're just the type that wants some space when you want it. Haha! But theres nothing wrong with that!

      Me too! I can't do it. I've had past significant others get really offended by it, too. :-/

    I'm not big on cuddling either. People always think all girls want to do is cuddle and I'm a girl and I'm not a huge fan. Doesn't make you weird just preference I guess.
