I can't run away to get over him

So I live with my ex boyfriend since we're in collage and at first we were just friends, but then we started dating and for two months everything was like a dream for me,but then one day he broke up with me and said it's better to just stay friends.Anyway the problem is i still love him i can't get over him couse i live with him he can't get a new place and i can't go back to my parents's house couse they live far away and i'll miss my studys.i just can't get away and take a break from the emotions i get 24/7 .so is it normal i still love him this much it's been 2 years now so help? sorry for my bad english.
