I can't invite my english friend over?
My guy friend who is NOT gay and NOT my boyfriend (I know, sounds impossible but it's not) is planning to come visit me in the US in a few months.
We met when my friend was studying abroad and she invited him and 5 of his friends over her parent's mansion. I met him there and we became besties. My friend moved state and we barely keep in touch/he wasn't close to her at the time so I didn't steal her friend away...
Anyway, last time he was here, I didn't get to hang out with him more than one of the 7 days he was here. The first day he arrived, my gay friend Charlie said he wanted to drive me to the airport to pick up Liam. I swear he has a crush on him even though he hasn't said a thing to me. So the entire ride home, Charlie wouldn't shut the beep up and I barely got a word in with Liam and he stayed in the hotel with us for like 3 hours and then he went to dinner with us.
Then my friend asked him out to dinner alone and the next day, my coworker INVITED herself over to my place without calling and just shows up around 1 in the afternoon and invites us out to lunch at her house and then DINNER OUT. You get where this is going. My mother even made me take him out to dinner with her.
IIN?? I told everyone that I have plans with Liam/other people so we'll be busy. I want alone time with him, is this wrong? Is it normal I don't get time with my friend? He really is my friend. We talk nearly every day and have been planning this new trip for a while.
I just feel like I'm gonna lose my mind. Out of the 7 days, only one day I got to spend with him and it hurt like hell. I know we're not boyfriend girlfriend but he's one of my besties. :(
