I know this sounds hypocritical. And I know it's wrong but I can't help feeling this way. I think people that are a combination of just plain stupid and ignorant....have no place on this planet and I don't think it would be a loss if they just....ceased to exist. I mean if someone is not only unintelligent but is also racist, chauvinistic, self-righteous, etc....do we really need them?

I try to be accepting of everyone and I know that no one is perfect and that people can't all fit into this idealistic mold. But seriously, I just have no use for people like this. I just can't stand ignorant people. And unintelligent people frustrate and baffle me. By unintelligent, I mean lacking common sense. I don't care if someone is bad at math, writing, or science. I mean people that just do and say stupid shit without thinking about the consequences, how it affects others, or how it affects others' perception of them. By all means be yourself, but for heaven's sake learn to censor yourself, too.

I know that regardless of how dumb or ignorant a person is, they probably have people that they love and are good to, and people that love them in return. I know this, but I still feel like they are somehow subhuman. It's wrong....but I can't help it. I'm wondering how common it is to feel this way. Again, I know it's hypocritical, so please don't bother pointing that out ;)

    Dude, most people are not like this. You are talking of American people. I know this is racist. But it is true. You have to agree. And if you were in my shoes, you would understand. All the jocks who play football are as dumb as mules. They fail school (I consider C's and D's failing). If they do get to college, it is by way of a sports scholarship. And if they make the NFL, they get rich. This is just unfair that totally stupid people are higher in society than regular people who actually do good in school and get normal jobs.

      What do academic and athletic lifestyle have to do with people's IQ in general? You missed the point by a mile... take a good look at Albert Einstein, he is never good at school as a kid because he daydream too much, and teacher have nothing to do with that. They may think he is dumb and lazy, but no one expect that he is smart enough to escape Gremany after it was take over by Nazis.

      I can't say that I blame teacher or parent individually for that matter, but for massive amount of people like Nazis or American government where there is potential disagreement created among us in the world... I would never understand them. It seem that nowaday that intelligent are often overlooked, these who are talent (or overrated) enough get too much credit by blind people.

    I'll admit I was skeptical of this article when I first read the title, but my hat goes off to you.

    It has anything to do with being American.....there are ignorant people everywhere, and there are definitely unintelligent people everywhere. I'm American and I know many, many people that this post does not apply to at all. Let's keep it to people in general and avoid hating on Americans.

      Well stupid people will kill themselves anyways. They see the cliff and they just keep on walking. You can tell them "No no stop the edge is right there" and they will ignore you. When they plum it to the ground you feel awful since you did not save them. After you see 1000 idiotic and pointless deaths you just stop giving a shit. They are basically sheep and they are all following each other to their doom. These are the people that worship Manson and send him love letters in prison. Dont worry they will all date a teacher, marry a serial killer, or jump off a roof with rope and die soon enough. Idiots always kill and hurt themselves since they have no common sense.

    Hmm... hypocritical or not, I have alot of respect for cynics and their opinion. I love it when they point out truth, it is always a food for my thought. I may be a disgruntled idealist, but I could careless if it's part of human nature, after all they're the animal that supposedly walk around with brain to think about things thoroughly. I could have said alot more about idiots in a lengthy rant, but let's cut to the chase, I say normal.
