I can't find a single pair of good shoes.

I don't recall ever having a pair of shoes that didn't hurt my feet besides a pair of Chuck Taylor's and some Diesel sneakers. If they fit me lengthwise, they are always too narrow, or too flat and hard or whatever. Especially now since my job requires me to be on my feet for a long time. No, I'm not willing to compromise on style. I do love my high heels and pretty ballet flats. Do you guys also have the same problem or recommendations on where to buy some decent shoes?

I know what you mean. I find most of the shoes I have bought over the years to have unfortunately been extremely uncomfortable. My feet are very narrow and a tad longish. They are always near the ends of the shoes even if the shoes are my size. It's a little annoying but it isn't something that will change unless my feet grow to fit another size. Anyway, the issues I usually have are having the fit be too loose in the back around the opening and the comfort level of the shoe. I can't wear most shoes because the sole area is not comfortable enough. CT all stars, are painful. The shoes have no arch and offer little to no comfort or Cushioning. I currently own a pair of Adidas Samba and Gazelle, which are rather comfortable. I think they are/originally were athletic shoes, so I guess the comfort level makes sense.

I love Keens! some run wide and some run narrow, you just got to try them on and walk around a bit. They require no breaking in and they typically last me two years. And I wear them every single day. I also do a lot of hiking and walking.

I also like Dansko, Merril, and Ahnus. They are all cozy.

PF Flyers and Vans are a bit wider and have shoes in a similar style.

I feel your pain. I'm picky about my shoes and I hate most styles. Can't go wrong with chucks but they do suck for when you have to be on your feet all day. I found maybe two pairs of dvs and dc shoes that I liked but that was years ago. Saucony originals are really comfortable and I like all the colors. Doc martens are great once they're broken in. Ummm....I doubt I'm being any help at all.
