I can't deal with make-up

I am starting to use make-up at 23. Is that weird? I'll take that as a yes.

I'm looking for a boyfriend so I have decided to wear make-up after my mate said I should take care of my appearance.

I don't like concealer as I am too pale and I don't wan to look orange or just too unrecognisable.

Concealer is just there to cover dark circles, blemishes or any imperfections you might have. It isn't always necessary to have. If you don't want to look so pale, then just get a foundation that is a little bit darker than your skin tone, PLUS, you don't need makeup if you have natural beauty and if your boyfriend is saying that your natural look isn't good enough for him, then he doesn't deserve you.

    I didn't start wearing make-up until I was 18...
I just never really learned how to use it properly because no one ever really taught me or anything. I didn't care much. Same thing goes for fixing my hair.... I suck at it. :P

Now I wear it all the time though. :P

Dude I barely ever wear makeup and when I do, guys that I know tell me I look way prettier without it, so wear what you like, I only wear eyeliner and occasionally concealer if I have a monster pimple. :)

I wear foundation, eye liner and mascara on a daily basis (I put more on my eyes if I'm going out). My foundation is so close to my skin colour people can't really tell I'm wearing it, it just makes my skin look better (also helps with my confidence) You should style your make up on the shape on your features- I have massive eyes but I like to exaggerate them hence the eye liner and mascara. I don't wear lipstick as my lips are big enough without more attention being drawn to them lol.
Some girls are lucky enough to not need foundation- if this is you then first of all I am sooooooo jealous! Secondly it's better for your skin if you can avoid it. Also some girls are naturally beautiful- I need make up but you might not, men love natural looking women, you'll find someone so don't rely on the make-up.
Just remember- the eyes are the window to your soul ;) but don't over-do it cuz you'll look like a hooker.

Hehe, I'll try that, just gotta go and buy some stuff. Never contact lenses. Maybe one day.

I don't like wearing mascara but I feel it does make the eyes stand out, especially when I wear glasses. I have a feeling when I blink or yawn it runs down my face. And eye liner will probably do the same, never worn that though, and I daren't wear lenses so putting eye liner on would make me uncomfortable

Have you ever tried contact lenses? I'd die without mine! When you're on your own just try out different make-up until you find one thats comfortable for you

I think you mean foundation not concealor. They're two different things, and you probably want to invest in both, along with loose powder, a blush, brozner, a good primer, eye shadows with a color for highlight and some lip stuff, whatever you prefer. Oh, and brushes.

Wow I bet the concealer and foundation are expensive. I need some professional advice. I have pretty much everything else, except loose powder, primer, bronzer. I need help knowing how to apply it too. I may talk to my mate and go with her when she has time. She has so much it makes me laugh.

You should learn to do your makeup naturally this doesn't eat up too much time is really easy and looks good very hard to mess up... You do need foundation (concealor) but find one that matches your skin tone, also use a compact with powder. This way the foundation can be used minimally for under eye circles and blemishes while the powder which is more subtle can go on your whole face. Use a very natural eyeshadow, natural lipgloss in a light color and mascara and maybe a hint of blush. The key is minimal application. You will look great. I also suggest doing your hair nice for a complete look. Good luck!

If you have pretty clear skin you can skip the concealor part. Play up your eyes or lips. Also keep a clean brow as this frames your face. Makeup is fun to experiment with. Also less is more so I think you have the right attitude. Good skin care must be practiced before using makeup.

I hate make up as I can't be bothered with it. An I agree, someone should like u for who u are, not how u look with make up. I haven't been single for 6 half years. (2 BFS) Having said that when u look good, u feel good an that is attractive in a person.

i only wear eye liner and that's a big IF. if someone likes you it should be for who you are not how your make-up looks. but look at me....i'm still single at 24.

Concealor comes in many colors. You have to choose one that matches your complexion. Honestly, if you don't feel comfortable wearing make-up, don't. And just for a tip, I would go to your local mall and see if they'll give you a free makeover. They can tell you the colors and shades that go well with your skin.
