I can't cry, is it normal?

I just broke up with my bf... And I feel awful, but I can't cry, I don't even sound sad, but I am, I can feel that sinking feeling in my heart and I can't stop thinking about it. But I can't cry.. It's been sometime since I notice this but I can't find why is it, I heard it a sign of depression, but IDK.

    I now after getting Avian Flu in 1997 have very little control over my tear ducts. I'm not the crying type but the ducts will pour water at any time.
