I don't think that's the problem... Phycopath's can't cry. Do you feel apathy all the time? Despite the fact you have depression? Have you felt it most of your life? Like you can understand human emotions, but you just can't feel them? Because I do.
My understanding was that that was the whole point of Prozac - to feel nothing? I didn't even know Prozac was still around, I thought it had been recalled.
I know what you're talking about. You kind of feel numb after awhile. Isn't that what you wanted though? To not feel sad?
Right now I wish I could say I can't cry. believe me sometimes it's better to be numbed than to be all depressed and crying oever everything. But if it's really scaring you speak to yor doctor. I think I need some of that med....
If it worries you, you might want to ask your doctor about changing medications. I had some issues with lithium and they resolved when I started taking something else. Are you like completely numb, or it just that you don't get really depressed about things?
