I can sleep on the couch well, but not my bed :(

I tend to have trouble sleeping in my bed, for whatever reason. I don't find it as comfortable as I should.

However, I can sleep on the couch just fine- I find it a lot more comfortable to sleep on.

is it normal that I sleep better on the couch than I do in my own bed?

Perhaps you were depressed before you wrote the story, and writing it was a way of recognizing your emotions.

You need to get a better bed by the sounds of it.

The couch probably has either a comfier mattress or newer springs. For your bed, I've been told that flipping the mattress on the other side can "fix" the springs or you can invest in a new mattress made with foam.
