I can. A huge amountof songs , too. I can relate to the topics, like anger, running from someone, ect. In a way it's like I think "Hey, I know what you mean."is this Normal?

I think so. The mind has a whole spectrum of emotions, and dark music which taps into emotions like hate and despair and fear and the feeling of being trapped is every bit as relateable as the music which taps into emotions like love and joy and happiness, because those feelings are every bit as real.
I don't think we would enjoy music nearly as much if we didn't relate to it.
Of course. Music is supposed to be relatable, that's how they connect with their fans :)
Yeah, it's definitely normal to be able to relate to songs. I love bands who make songs like that, and they're almost always from bands who seem really normal, or just real.
