I can feel when i'm being murdered in my dream

Last night I had a dream that I was being killed by my father. I could feel every time he touched me and stabbed me, especially when he stabbed me slowly. My dads never tried to hurt me. He's very protective and cried when he had to spank me when I was little. Plus I have not seen him in 7 years. Does anyone know why I could feel it or why I even had that dream?

Why could I feel it? 12
Why is this happening? 12

I was shot by a sniper rifle in a dream. I still get phantom pains from that dream.

Dreams are suppose to feel like that... read about it on the internet... its very common some of them really feel real and you can actually feel the pain the touch like all of it was real.. only upon waking up youll know it was a dream so sitback and relax it has nothing to do with real life.. its actually fun tho

It is normal that you could feel it. in almost all nightmares the dreamer can feel what is happening

Dreams are very unpredictable. But, I do know for a fact that dreams aren't visions nor do they predict the future.

Whoever said you can't feel pain in a dream is full of crap. I had a dream once I was carrying all these weird, rod-like machine parts that were really awkward and I tripped and fell. Rods through my hands in like 5 places and I pulled each one of them out. Weirdest. Feeling. Ever. x.x

If the dream had any kind of subconscious meaning, I'm sure it's more metaphorical than literal. Think of what other kinds of things your father could represent, and perhaps it's one of those ideas or feelings that your dream-mind was trying to bring forward to you.

you can feel it because your brain thinks your being hurt by an object even though your sleep
