I can feel my cervix... and it's not where it should be.

I'll start from the beginning.
About a year ago, I started a new birth control called Nuva Ring. It works basically, by thickening the mucus of your cervix, and not allowing any wriggly bastards to get up in your business. I took it home, followed the doctors instructions, and spent an HOUR trying to get the damn thing to rest against where I thought my cervix should be. A quarter of a tube of KY jelly and a tired hand later, I decided to try and locate my cervix since I'd never actually felt it before. It took me a while, but I found it 2 knuckles in on the wall of my vagina, facing forward. I called my mom and she said I probably have a tilted uterus? But I'm just not sure. I'd appreciate COMMENTS if anyone knows or has heard about this.

It's possible, but if you had a problem than I believe that, during the exam that your GYN would HAVE to perform on you, they would have caught that. If you're concerned, go in for another exam and ask her to show you how to fit it.

And I have been on the Nuvaring for 5 years. I think you're putting too much effort into this, all you really have to do is slip it all the way in and position it to the wall of your vagina and it will just hold itself in. Like, fold it in half and put it all the way in to the end of your vagina and if it doesn't slip out within a few minutes, you're good. Also a good idea to check on it before and after sex and periodically while using the restroom for the first few weeks that you are on it to ensure that you placed it right. Then infreqeunt checking will be ok.

Once you learn how to use it, it's great stuff. I've been on it for 5 years and haven't always used it by the letter and no pregnancy so far.
