    This absolutely is not normal. You might be the first documented case in the history of mankind who has burned their tongue on mac & cheese

    Imagine craving a pizza all day long and you finally get that hot and fresh pizza you been daydreaming about only to burn your tongue on the first slice/bite because you couldn't wait 5 minutes for it to cool down now you can't taste anything. 🤬

    I've burned my tongue on food as well, though I don't know that I've experienced itching as a result of it, mostly just tenderness.
