  • Once you realize that words can't hurt you, you'll regret it more than now. Stop caring about what they think. If anything they'll be jealous that you actually have someone who wants to hold your hand.

If you love her you should just ask her out :)

    Am I reading this properly....?

You're a woman in love with a lesbian and and broke up with her because you got called out on it?

    it's really normal.
    it's also a dick move.
go get over your reputation and be yourself.
    don't be homophobic, that's dumb.

It is normal for a lot of people (especially younger people), to let other peoples opinions be the deciding factor on whether or not they date someone. If you broke up with him/her for that reason alone though, then that makes you a shallow person. If you truly loved him/her, then it wouldn't matter what other people thought. Also, I am confused. Is it a she or a he?

If I understand you correctly, you are worried about what other people will think because you're in love with a lesbian. And I'm here to tell you that that's totally fucked! Love is a rare thing and you broke up with this person because you care about what other people think? If you're a lesbian then face it and own it. Lesbianism is chic now anyway. Get her back and move to San Francisco or Washington DC where you can be gay or bi and accepted. There are plenty of jobs in WDC at least so you may even have a better lifestyle.
