I did not Know toddlers had fully formed milk glans for that sort of Thing. That's very Impressive.
Did ur mom not have ur dad to suck her boob instead of you? Totally not normal
depends on what kind of medical technology was available when you were growing up.
Most people in the US stop between 2-3 because of several factors....
1) the milk dried up
2) Teeth - having junior bite your nipple is NOT fun
3) School - kinda hard to bring junior to school if he's still suckling
4) society
5) medical technology - you don't need to worry about passing on as many immunizations through breast milk these days as you did say back in older times
6) Mom's comfort - sometimes being tied to the baby that long is taxing
I voted: No, it's not normal, but then I looked it up and the internet said that babies tend to wean between ages 2.5 to 7, so I guess it is normal.
In some cultures it's very normal and the age is sometimes older. Breast milk is the best for the young so your mum probably did the right thing
