I bought the same jacket as a friend. is it normal to feel weird about it?

I bought a jacket online at Hot Topic on Sunday. I got it today(March 6). It was on clearance, and I bought the last one. It's a guy jacket, and I'm a girl. I didn't care though. It looked cool. I noticed it looked similar to my friend's boyfriend's jacket. I texted and asked him if he had the jacket I had bought. He said yes, and asked why I wanted to know. I told him that I was just wondering because I had bought the jacket because it looked cool. He didn't say anything back after that, so I guess he's fine with it. Now I feel awkward about it. I'll still wear it to school. Thoughts?

    ugh, I dislike people like that. My ex had an absolute favorite cute red pea coat that she used to wear, until someone sitting behind her wore a red pea coat (not even the same one/style) and she never wore it again simply because someone else had a similar one.
