well yeah. Anyone who isnt completly retarded knows that the heart doesnt really love, but it has been the symbol of love for a very long time. As for dying of a broken heart, that actually can happen. The person probably endures a lot of stress from losing their love, to thw point they suffer a heart attack and die.
Who really sits there and thinks "I've decided I'm going to be in love with this one."
There are people who die from a "broken heart" look it up. Personally, I missed my bf once so terribly that I started to feel sharp pangs in my heart- so I know it's not all in the mind.
Well there's a reason through history people have associated the heart with feelings of pain and joy. Love Hate. While yes, the brain is the control panel of our bodies, its been proven that certain organs hold emotional/sensory cell memory.
