With overpopulation in mind, I believe that governments everywhere should do away with rewarding people that reproduce and reward those that don't have babies instead. I think they should reduce the Childfree peoples' taxes and tax parents more. They should pay people $400,000 to not reproduce/get sterilized and get wondrous yearly or bi-yearly vacations, a great retirement mansion for when they're in their 60s/70s, and free healthcare that the Gov't pays for. If people realized that they'd get heftily rewarded for not procreating, then the population would decline to hopefully a much more healthy number as 7.3 Billion is no where near healthy. I think 1-2 Billion would be ok. No child limits or forced abortions needed.

    If you are so concerned, then sterilize yourself. You do realize the tax credits don't cover the cost of having a child and are by no means, a reward. By eliminating the credit, you would only create more desperate people who can't contribute to society in a positive manner.

    The fact is, people are here. Instead of hating on people for doing what humans do, and trying to limit something beyond your control, maybe find a way to help those people be better people. And here's a tip, one person living in a mansion does no one any favors. It is a bigger waste of resources than a family of 4 living in a modest home.

    Oh my god I never thought about this but it could work! And where would the money come from? Fucking welfare! From the fat lazy bitches that pop out another baby to get an extra 400 a month. We need to stop paying people to do nothing. The people who really need the help don't get it and the people who abuse the system have nicer shit than I do. God our government is so flawed. Honestly I think you should have to get a license to have children. With a strict screening process: drug testing, IQ testing, criminal checks, financial profiling, etc.

      Let's start with drug testing and slowly work the rest in. I can guarantee 1/3 would be cut not next day

        Where I live they did start drug testing for welfare. There's ways around it though and those who abuse the system continue to.

    I agree, start the program with the blacks and the towel-heads. The main caveat would be all the rich pricks now will be procreating and the world would be de-evolving into chaos and more war.
