I believe in survival of the fittest.

We're creating a society where everyone has to be looked after.

Even the people looking afer the people have to be looked after. It's ridiculous!

I think we shouldn't have a health system, help for homeless, counselling, benefits, old peoples homes, etc.

I've been in hospital, I've been homeless, I've been on benefits, I've had counselling (clearly not enough) and I don't think it should be available. I will tell you why, good sirs.

My mother is on benefits. She sits at home on her computer, day after day and won't get a job. She's currently useless. What I disagree with is that when I'm having a hard time with life or work, she suggests I get on benefits and just don't work for a while...

My point is this.

LAZY/ILL/f**kED UP/FAT/UNHEALTHY people tell their children that this is ok. They make them behave the same way. Sometimes, they are just born the same way, if it's a mental or physical illness.

We got here by survival of the fittest. Evolution. IT WAS WORKING JUST FINE. Now we're destorying our planet and creating a pathetic world where no-one can survive with this sh*tty world we've made.

We should go back to how it was. If you can fight, you fight and you survive. If you can't fight, you die. If you die, you don't have children. Thus, the world is spared and only the fit and cunning survive.

  • This is just mean and unkind - angry and vituperating - a very distorted blame-the-world (or your mother) for your short-comings point-of-view.

Fortunately their are many other people who collectively are capable of caring for others and accepting their frailties.

You want the law of the jungle? Go live in the jungle and piss off with your cry-baby social-Darwinianism

I agree to an extent. Those who are being taken care of need to do there best to get back on track. But for the able in society, we need to take care of others. Humans are the only animals that go beyond the basic needs of nature and we have an interdependence with each other. Every one looks after everyone. For people who don't contribute and don't attempt to contribute they don't deserve benefits. As for those who are in-able (handicapped, injured, mentally in-stable) its not their fault, and it's our responsibility to care for them

My sentiments exactly.. However one of the main reasons of human technology is to remove us from nature and its harsh rules- but as animals when we are strong we may look at other people and consider them weak, useless, and wonder why they still exist.
But this is the human race: We make houses, healthcare, and take every measure to keep if only a single human living (Discounting wars.. Some people are just d*cks). We are for the most part a species that does not have to worry about being hunted, with the knowledge that pain is little and far apart.
In a nutshell, we are born into a world where our freedom is involuntarily traded for safety, and we just.. Live. As an intelligent species, this is what we have gained from evolution; the capabilty to prolong the life of every human, maximising the continual of the human race.

Your not a liberal so thats a good thing. More people should believe in this, but dont forget to help your fellow man when they are just down on their luck. Every person should pull their own weight, its not societies obligation to help you because you are to lazy to help yourself.

I can somewhat agree with the idea. We need those "systems" such as healthcare/counseling/benefits to promote our ways of life. It's just such a shame that we develop a way to help people when they get in a crunch and then it is all wasted on lazy bastards that gave no will or desire to work. However, if one does not want to contribute to such a society, one should be removed from it so as not to drain the others of the comforts of modern life that they are working hard for.

I think that in today's society everyone is on their own. Humans aren't meant to live like that. It's against our nature, and people who live like that are in fact, the weakest.

There's too many children who grow up and don't look after their parents when they're old, or too many people who loose their homes and their families don't take them in. For those, benifits and shelters are required.

Some people are just greedy. They suck, and ruin things for people who really do have nobody looking out for them. Some people are also ungrateful and complain about a system that helped them, too.

I agree with you to a point. I find it very frustrating that my useless lazy Welfare neighbours get all the health benefits (and more) than I do, and I work 40 hours per week!! They are physically capable of working, but they choose not to. Their kids are getting fatter and lazier, which is a shame. They will probably end up like their parents, adding to this endless circle of crap.

Gotta say I agree with most of your post, people need to learn to help themselves instead of relying on the government to bail them out.

There is alot of truth in your post. Fat lazy bastards would most likely do more if there were ass was on the line. But we as humans have evolved from this barbaric way of life... for better or worse
