I believe i might be a reincarnated german soldier or nazi

Ever since I was about in 6th grade, I've had this obsession with Nazi Germany. Whenever I see any videos, read books about, or pictures of German soldiers or anything nazi related, I get excited and pumped up for no reason. I love history and like to research and study military history, tactics, strategy, and have lots of WW2 trivia stored in my head. I know all sorts of German tanks, planes, weapons, squad tactics, and even names of generals and their accomplishments. But it had me wondering if I could be potentially a reincarnated German soldier, or citizen from Nazi Germany.

I'm not a Nazi, but I do believe in more "politically incorrect" beliefs compared to others. This has me worried I could potential have been apart of the Waffen SS, SS or Gestapo and committed atrocities. I haven't had any visions or dreams or whatever about the stuff, just that I get excited and crazed and obsessed over this stuff

TL;DR : I'm obsessed with nazis and I want to know why

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

Just because you are really interested in this, doesn't mean you are reincarnated. It's cool that you know so much about this. Consider becoming a historian.

That might make two of us. Though for me it started with dreams I began having after a B-17 came to the local airport for veterans day. After seeing it I started having dreams of flying a different plane. The plane in my dreams was a single engine fighter with a grey camo scheme (believed now to have been a fw-190)
I dreamt of flying towards the bombers and when awake had frequent thoughts of dread while thinking about B-17s.
Later dreams I had of laying on the ground with no plane in sight which at first didn't make sense.
Later I was recommended by someone to try a regression meditation. During this I saw a memory with my reflection and one involving fire and falling.
Later someone else online showed me a group of symbols to see if I recognized any. One seemed familiar so I searched it and found a list of names. One stood out and when I clicked on it there was an image of a guy who looked like my reflection in my dreams who flew a grey colored plane that was crashed into a B-17. Exploded. The explosion threw the guy away from the plane to where he survived and made it to the ground.
His plane was completely disintegrated explaining why in the dreams of lying on the ground there was no plane in sight.

That's interesting, because my grandparents barely survived the holocaust and watched their loved ones and parents brutally murdered as children. You might want to consider that this isn't fiction, and what you're saying is incredibly appalling. I honestly don't understand how anyone with an ounce of empathy could feel this way.

If I misunderstood and you're just a history buff, that's obviously normal. Although I still don't understand getting "excited." I personally get depressed when reading about innocent people being tortured and killed in masses.

There are large communities of people obsessed with anything and everything related to the third reich, from sexual fetishists (a massive range in this category alone) to historians to those who love the clothing and symbology, to those who adopt their political beliefs from early policy to full raging neo nazi (and today I must clarify when I say neo nazi I don't mean non third wave feminist white guy, I mean neo nazi). Old Adolf was a fascinating dude no pun intended, and despite political correctness (I'd never show this to my grandma as her parents and some of her siblings were violently murdered by them) there is something undeniably exciting about the Nazi regime. As its been dramatized in media this adds only to the intrigue surrounding the atrocities committed. To be a 6 year old kid at the end of a gun about to die or reading about it as a preteen 80 years later are two very different things. Perhaps all you naziphiles are reincarnates, I don't know much about that, but from my POV it is a perfectly understandable thing to be obsessed by
