I use to jerk off a lot but I have trained myself to only do so once a month even when I have the urge to do so I just ignore it into the end. At the end of each month that's when I let lose is this normal the reason why I only do so once a month is because it use to be a problem I was a addicted to it but now I don't just randomly do it anymore.

Sounds a little extreme, I'd go for every week or every fortnight myself. Still though if it means you're not addicted to it anymore then that's cool.
I don’t see why doing it whenever you have the urge is a problem. It’s just a natural urge that everyone has....go ahead and just do it!
I smell disillusionment here. The idea of sex is to keep fresh sperm in your woman's uterus at all times except for the week of menstrual activity. Sperm lives in the uterus for about three days (a few make it to 5 days). So, to follow nature's plan, both men and women need to jerk off or have sex every 3 days, and take a week off once a month.
There is no virtue in sexual abstinence. Some religions pander to this fallacious reasoning. Please choose a religion with a healthy view of human sexuality and family planning. Good churches are out there.
