  • If you’ve had tomato sauce you’ve eaten garlic and probably onions too. If you don’t overseason you shouldn’t smell like food.
Stinking fish is old and shouldn’t be eaten. Fresh fish should have no smell or a slight smell of the sea.

Anchovies smell the worst. The person who ate them, you don't want to go anywhere near the bathroom that that person uses the next day. You also don't want to be anywhere near their breath within the few hours after they eat them either.

Sure, some food smells get old real fast, like fish. I love the smell of Vinegar in the air, especially in sweet and sour type sauces. I also like the smell of steak that lingers in the air for a while too.

HATE the smell of cooked peas and shit like that though.

Cooked peas smell pretty mild next to vinegar, spicy sauces, or some types of fish, especially anchovies.
