I ate too much chocolate and now i'm addicted, is this normal?

I don't normally eat a lot of chocolate, except for at Christmas because I am gifted an ample supply of it. Of course, I eat it all like some sort of chocolate obsessed monster. I eat so much of it that even my urine has a sweet smell. After the holidays are over, I end up with an addiction to sugar and find the withdrawal process difficult to endure. Am I the only one who goes through this each year? I feel powerless to resist the chocolate.

You urine shouldn't have a sweet smell. Cut down your serving size or switch to a organic brand of Dark Chocolate. If your urine continues to smell sweet, I think you go to the doctor and make sure you don't have diabetes.

Chocolate actually has ingredients in it that release endorphins and dopamine, two hormones that make you feel it's totally normal to be addicted to sugar and grain products, which are just more complex sugars. Withdrawal is a bitch, believe me.

omg I'm addicted to chocolate as well. I have to eat it everyday or I'm unhappy and go a little crazy. It's like my crack.

I very much like chocolate as well. If this is such a concern ask people not to get you chocolate as a gift ever if possible.
