I associate most musicians with a place at my school?

So whenever I think about a certain musician, I subconsciously associate them with a place at my school. I've only just realized I'm doing it. For instance, Taylor Swift is by the lockers, Marilyn Manson is outside my form room, Boys Like Girls is my German classroom, and Eliza Doolittle is the driveway to the headmaster's house (boarding school). I know it's not just where I happen to have talked about the musicians, because nobody at my school even knows I like Marilyn Manson, and it'd be social suicide for them to know, so I keep it quiet. Is this normal, to associate musicians with seemingly random positions in my school?

Social suicide to like Manson? Sounds like people at your school are no fun. :(

Also thanks to you using that phrase I have Motion City Soundtrack stuck in my head. ._.

I'm just gonna go get fucked up and die now.

Huh, I wonder why. Certain songs do remind me of certain places, but they're all different places, such as a forest or a city, etc. I think it's normal to associate music with things, though.
