ever since i was 12 ive never been single in my life, i have always have some back ups whenever im in a relationship except now, i actually stopped cheating, but im really scared of being single, and not having someone else is scaring me, that my bf might leave me and i wont have anyone:( is it normal to be scared to be alone/single?
its normal about being scared to be single i think but that passes, i just got out of a 4 year relationship where i was glued to her hip, its been 8 months now and im finally getting a handle on things, but some ppl dont take that long.. as for cheating and the rest, definitely not normal in my eyes but hey who am i to judge
my ex was the same way, she had a boyfriend since 8th grade, and never went more than 2 months without one. at the end of our 1 year relationship she was like, i don't want to be in a relationship, it's college and i just want to have fun and not worry about a guy. that lasted her 2 weeks before she was dating 3 different guys at the same time to then choose which one she wanted to get into another long term relationship with because she doesn't know how to function without one. you need to learn how to be a happy single before you get in another relationship imo.
... I prefer to be single, the first time I had a relationship, felt like crap. I didn't like the feeling at all so I dumped that person. He got depressed for a couple of days which I don't understand and asked for another chance.
We're only friends to this day. Which, feels awesome.
no, i don't think it's normal to have to have backups lined up and cheating too.
