I am really annoyed by willfully stupid people

Mentally challenged people do not have a choice so this is not about them. The majority of people say and do dumb things capriciously and constantly. Many are college educated but ignorant just the same. And when a group of them get together, someone invariably is dancing on a table with a lampshade on their head or talking sexist, racist,homophobic, or otherwise mean-spirited garbage. They do not have to act like an ass but they choose to do it anyway. This is why I am not a "joiner"and I really despise indiscriminate groups of people. Is it normal to care?

    Stupid people are annoying. I always thought that was supposed to die off after high school but I guess not. The mean-spirited crap usually comes from people putting down other groups in an attempt to be "funny" so they are accepted and can run away from their own insecurities (when you can't brag about yourself, put down the guy next to you. That's the stereotypical idea anyways).

    It's normal to be bothered by this, but the behavior is human nature, it's not going to change any time soon. Most people really aren't like that by themselves, you have to learn to look past it.

    Well, I'm not particularly well-educated but I have danced on a table and if there was a lampshade available, it most definitely would have been on my head. One man's fun is another man's... umm... not fun.
