I respect the freedom for Americans to do whatever they want with the American flag. And I will defend their right to burn it or stomp it, but I don't like it. Do less free places understand the freedoms Americans have? Trashing the flag in most countries can result in death, or incarceration for a long time.
Im the same way. I think a lot of people are too short sided when they want to ban a behavior that they dont agree with. These people must not understand that every action creates a reaction. And you dont want to give people in power the ability to control what you say or how you protest.
I heard some liberals argue for hate speech laws in 2016 when Donald Trump had the presidency, the house, and the senate. Do they not realize other political ideologies are gonna have a different view of hate speech than they do? Just a stupid road to go down. Id rather just be offended than people not say what they want.
