I am legitimately nocturnal and i feel fine: iin?

I can't sleep during the night. I literally can only sleep when it's light, so I go to bed at 10 AM and wake around 8 PM. (I nurse, so I willingly do the night shift! Ha!) I don't have any fatigue or health problems, and my friends and lover are all used to it. Is this something that happens to anyone else? Should I be concerned?

Most my friends are night people, a few are actually nocturnal. Those few work night shifts and are fine. Yes they still do their daytime stuff like Dr appointments and such but they do them before or after bed. You only need like 10-20 mins of sun a day to get the natural vitamins so if you aren't going to sleep until 10am you got it covered.

ask yourself:how long am I going to feel fine? one week? one month? one year? how is this being nocturnal going to affect my affect my life? does it mean I am going to enjoy the nightlife or it means I am going to spend a lot of nights all by myself? doing nothing but wasting time because no matter what most humans live during the day?
is this being Nocturnal eventually going to turn me into an antisocial weirdo with delusions of vampirism and a fucked up sense of humor?
these are the questions you must ask yourselves.
anyway, it is a sleep disorder and it will affect you. whether you like it, or not.

I think you should worry if you're sleeping all the time or if you didn't sleep at all. Your sleep pattern seems to be in reverse from the "typical" population. I think that's normal. Perhaps, you should take the vitamins you would get from the sun. If you are really worried about this, than ask someone at your hospital. Good Luck:)

I don't think you should, there have been times like these in my life but they lasted a week tops. However, get a lot of vitamin Cs, since you're nurse you should know better.
