I am constantly fantasizing about sex and its really starting to take over my life.. i would rather day Dream then go out... Help?
It sounds like you may need a release. There seems to be pent up sexual energy that you are unable to expend in more sublimated ways such as dating, creating friendships with potential for eventual sexual encounters etc.
Are you noticing an increase in your level of masturbation? Is this increase alarming or distressing for you? Some of this may be hormonal. Adolescence, Menstrual cycle, pregnancy, medication, diet and different life crises can all affect the level of interest a person has in sex at different times.
Whether or not this is normal would depend on the life context within which this change has happened.
I suggest you see a health care provider to determine what may be going on if the problem persists. Also, pace yourself with the masturbation if it in fact has increased...remember if it hurts the bad way, then you are doing it wrong.
