I can choose what I want, but she insists on making the order, orders the wine and tastes it too.

I feel a bit weird when this happens. Is it normal?

    Not normal that you let her do something which makes you feel weird. Tealights and rayb12 are right: talk to her about it! Not normal that you haven't already done so.

    Maybe you're just looking at it the wrong way.

    I'd let my lady order for me if she liked doing it. She's much better at personal interaction than I am anyway.
