You are probably warm toned. Try eyeshadows in shades of brown / tan, maybe a splash of olive green. A nice neutral pink lipstick, or a nude shade, and some black mascara. Youtube is chock full of videos on makeup for beginners. If you know the difference between warm and cool tones, you will have a much easier time.
