I am 50 years old male. Straight. I have never been kissed. I have never had sex. I look at women with sexual interest but feel why bother and tend to walk away. I feel the closer a woman is to me the more I will wind up hurt. Is this normal?
Eh. If living this way doesn't cause you any distress in life, does it really matter if it's normal or not?
I think it's normal. there's no time limit or even obligation set on having sex/kissing/etc. just take your own life at your own pace and do what makes you happy. :)
I'm very sorry for that. I kinda felt similarly, well not quite as I was younger but still, if my gf hadn't made a move I don't know if I would have ever had the courage to ask someone.
Are there women in your life that interest you in particular? Do you have female friends?
I think what you need in your situation is a really nice woman who you can trust and be open with. Somebody who will be understanding of your situation so you won't get hurt.

You appear to have a fear of intimacy. Have you considered using prostitutes until you conquer this fear?
Dating and being in a relationship with a female is much more of a hassle than kidnapping one and doing whatever you want to her in your basement.
Nice first two responses and sensible, shutup dumb guy, that's just a silly immature comment, I would you say you just have a shy personality type, I'm also like you, really really want women sometimes but don't bother, I'm shy generally and barley talk to women in a sexual sense, I'm 27 never kissed or had sex,
I find it hard to trust women and even if a woman said she was into me I would find it hard to believe as the truth and feel something is suspicious :-(
