For starters - asking if it is normal implies that you don't really want to do it. I wouldn't base your question on a particular age...it is all relative. For example, let me put it this way: I am a 36 y.o. male. I have no hang ups on age (within reason and the law) or race for that matter, so if we "click" I could definitely go out and do something with them. Now when you say date...you might want to clarify that because "date" can mean a dozen things to many different people. I would go on to explain more but I think this is already too long.
