Is it normal that whenever i see a pretty girl and a not-so-pretty girl, i always try to impress the not-so-pretty girl a hell of a lot more?

okay, whenever i go to public events, and i meet new people, there is always a pretty girl, and a no-so-pretty girl. obviously i wouln't mind if the pretty girl thought i was alright, but i just always have this urge to impress the not-so-pretty girl. is this normal?

    As long as you don't go starting something with the NotSoPrettyGirl and then you sleep with the ReallyPrettyGirl. That's awful.

    Never go after a former lover's friends...

    But this is a great thing to hear, those of us who aren't movie-star-pretty need lovin' too!

    Maybe it is because you feel like the 'pretty girl' can get any guy.. so you feel bad for the 'not-so-pretty' girl?

    Yeah, I always think that good looking guys are bound to be conceited idiots, so go for the just nice looking ones

    You may feel under pressure to impress them, or that you feel they are too good for you. You cant help who you fall in love with. The best looking girls aren't always as good as they may seem!

    I usually don't go for the best looking guys either, it's itimidating for one , for two I always think they are players and I look for more in depth personalities. I don't like men that are too cock sure about themselves

    Maybe your self-confidence is not enough to try to impress pretty or the prettiest one. Or maybe you're actually trying to get attention of pretty girls by going this way? Overall, I believe it is normal.
