My daughter is 19 years old and lives at home with me. I am a single father and we have a pretty good relationship. She never knew her mother so I have always worked hard to be a good figure in her life, in spite of that. Well to get to the point, I was out at a company lunch while she apparently still at home. The lunch was cancelled mid way through after someone had an allergic attack so I went home early. I thought nobody would be home. To my surprise it turned out my daughter was... Turned out she was applying a tampon to her vagina, and I unfortunately... could see her whole piece since her privates were facing the door.... She saw me about a minute after i walked in. I just stood there in shock for a minute not even moving. Once she noticed me, She screamed slapped me across the face and ran out to her room. I haven't spoken to her in a few days and I think she is either embarrassed or blames the whole ordeal on me.

I just want our relationship to be the same but I feel so awkward around her. She is a woman now, and She now has the full everything. The worst part about this is that even though the whole thing makes me very uncomfortable I got an un-explainable erection thinking about what I just saw, while in bed sleeping last night.         well how else do u expect me to explain it? she was in a missionary position... Her vagina was facing the door and she didn't see me until she began to prop her head up. Perhaps i exaggerated the 1 minute but it sure as hell felt like one minute.

          The allergic reaction tipped me. No one goes into that much detail.

          Okay so maybe my mother would but she's not normal. She'd go off on the Dr's Prognosis of the reaction and then forget the original point of the story.

        you don't have to believe me. My details are not told in the most concise way, I have to be honest... But it did happen and i'm embarrassed by it. We are beginning to talk a little again. She has always been very private growing up, so i'm surprised she has such.... Extreme interests. God only knows what she was doing in my office anyways. Should I ask her about it?

    Yes, I think this is quite normal. You saw a pretty woman in a sexual position and became aroused. Your brain knows she's your daughter but your penis cannot think.
    However, keep your thoughts private and don't try to take this any further with your daughter, even if you want to.
    The embarrassment will fade with time and you can continue to have a good father-daughter relationship.

      she's very attractive and is legal, but I feel very uncomfortable even discussing such a thing regarding her. Although I have to admit that I can't get the thought of her vagina out of my mind.
