As the title states I am a 22 year old virgin (male) and am questiong whether this is normal or not. Seems like every girl (I’m heterosexual) I’m interested in has far more sexual experience than me which is a cause of anxiety for me. What I want to know is, am I alone in being a 22 year old virgin due to anxiety, more importantly, are there any suggestions for overcoming this obstacle? I’d like to have sex with someone who won’t judge me which seems impossible. I’m a little awkward socially but I’m confident in myself and I’m not a terrible looking guy. Kinda feeling alone in this boat tight now...

    It's fine. If you were female everyone would be applauding you for being so restrained.

    It's more common than you would think. People lie about sex. I'm not saying that everyone is lying, but if you're with a large group of 22 year old guys and they are all talking about sexual experiences, odds are that a few of them are lying.

    It will happen when it happens. The right person won't care that you're a virgin.

    In some Asian countries the average person loses their virginity aged 23/24 so over there you are statistically normal.

    Also 22 year old virgin women exist they’re just normally less conventionally attractive, have anxiety issues or are devoutly religious.

    I mean the average guy loses his v card sooner but there are definitely others in your boat.

    What I don't like, is all the people pandering to saying don't worry about it and it's fine blah blah blah. You sound like you want some so fucking get some. Most people enjoy their life more when their sexually active. ESPECIALLY men and especially young men like you.
