Hungry all the time.

Recently I get hungry all the time. Even if I eat a normal amount of food (sometimes a lot more than I used to eat) & feel full, my stomach feels grumbly an hour or so later.

This wouldn't bother me so much, but I also find that 90% of the time after I eat I feel a bit nauseous or like I just want to puke it up. I haven't puked since I was a little kid though.

I'm not dieting, and as far as I know I am a decently healthy weight. So what is wrong here? Am I just eating bad stuff? Or does this happen to everyone and I am just a wimp?

If you are not fat then you might just have a very fast metabolism. You're lucky in that case!

Any chance you are pregnant? Sorry if u r male, this just happens to b exactly how I felt with both of my kids. I was a size 00 when I got pregnant with my first and felt it almost immediately. Starving and nauseous all at the same time :/

Here is a couple of thoughts:

Your body is using more fuel. Perhaps

    1) you're exercising and increasing your body's energy requirements.

    2) Your body may lack something - a mineral, protein, vitamins. .

It's your metabolism. Your body is burning through food so quickly that you feel hungry even if your full. I have a similar problem; Some days I'll barley eat anything, and others I'll eat more than two grown men (fat men). The trick is to keep yourself occupied and keep moving so your brain focuses on something else.

  • Just eat small meal every few hours or so and drink lots of fluids, this should help you stay full throughout the day.

Drink water. A lot of the time we feel hungry, but we actually just need fluid. Don't eat straight after you drink though, give it some time to sink in.

Eat more fibre and protein, these make you feel fuller than carbs in most foods
