Humiliated by telling people i have to pee

Telling ppl that i have to pee has always been so humiliating for me.. ive always held it at school because im afraid that if i leave for the bathroom everyone is gonna know that i must have had to pee really bad.. even with friends and family i can never tell them that i have to pee.. i just hold it until im at a bathroom and then theyll just think that im going because its there.. i dont want anyone to think that i have to go really bad even if i do.. theres something so embarrassing about that for me. and also i dont like it when people can hear me pee..

Yes!! I'm just like you! Ever since I was a little girl I hated going to the restroom because I was afraid to ask and I was afraid to ask because I didn't want them to know I had to pee. Wow, this whole time I thought I was the only one lol. And yes, I hate peeing loud because it's weird to me. And I also hate hearing others pee. So either yes, your normal... Or we're crazy

That's odd. I'm a guy. I tell people when I have to take a piss, a leak, a whiz, etc.. all the time. Now, I don't look at a female all weirdly just because she has to use the restroom. For all I know she's just fixing her hair or makeup or whatever. Even if you say, "I have to pee." That's not that big of a deal. Just don't tell everyone when you have to take a dump, shit, drop the kids off at the pool, do #2, drop a bomb, etc.. Definitely not something a lady should announce. Unfortunately, some guys do mention when they have to unload. That's nasty to me.

I'm not normally humiliated just conveying that information--but I'm humiliated by the awkward word choices that our languag gives us: "Pee" sounds childish, "piss" sounds rude, "urinate" sounds silly. ...So, um, I usually tell people I have to go rummage through their medicine cabinet or something.

Wow. You people seriously haven't considered saying you have to use the RESTROOM or BATHROOM. Your little brain only thinks the options are pee or piss or urinate or raid your medicine cabinet. The is a indication that you were raised by stupid parents therefore your stupid and it shows. Hahaha. Lol. Never thought of restroom or bathroom. WOW! IDIOTS.

I think it's normal..you're just a shy person..but tell yourself that evryone has to pee..it's normal..I'm also shy when i'm in a public bathroom and Someone hears me pee. But you shouldn't restrain yourself from peeing...

I was raised to be modest. I don't like pissing with a family member in the next stall. I like hearing men piss, but not women. At school, I would hold it in all day until I got home. Two kids in my class pissed themselves in class, but I was always too embarrassed to ask permission to use the toilet. Somehow I never had an accident at school or on the bus.

@charleylove (42022)- You're definitely not alone. I hate telling people I need to pee.

I just to the "creep into the bathroom because it's there" thing or say "I'll be right back" without implying I'm going to the bathroom. Yet, and this goes along with what @BAMF257 (42182) said, it's so easy for my boyfriend to say when he needs to use the bathroom or when he's dying for a piss. And he knows it turns me on when he says it, so I think that helps him be so open about it. But I know it's no turn on for him when I say it...so I get scared when I have to announce it.

    :/

Wow there is some stupid people in this world. Its easy just say Excuse me or Pardon me. I have to use the restroom or Do you have a restroom I could use? Any MATURE person isn't going to judge or giggle like some poor under developed child. Unless of course they are a poor under developed child which personally I wouldn't be around anyways. There is a book called everyone poops. It is a very popular book for some reason and I assume because every can relate to it. Think about this. Every person and animal in the entire world have a lot of differences but ONE thing we all have in COMMON is we all urinate and deficate. Nature calls. I think I'll make a song with a chorus that sounds like this. "Nature Calls the piss from my balls and the shit that falls....................................
    from my chili ring.

I've had a difficulty with telling people that I have to use the toilet for a very long time. At camp, I used to hold it in and deliberately drink less fluids because I just do panicked about people finding out that I had to use the bathroom. Once, we were in the woods and I told a counsellor that I needed to use the toilet. This counsellor said that hole group had to go back and just as I feared, people got angry at me. I then suggested that someone simply accompany me (we weren't allowed to use the toilet unescorted), thus preventing my peers being enraged at me.

Once I went to a family reunion, and I ended up holding my urine for the majority of the day because I didn't want to admit that I had to use the toilet. Well, I waited until I was about to burst to use it.

I never EVER have bowel eliminations when in public, it's always been urine, at least that I can remember. I think part of this my be due to my social anxiety/agoraphobia and my fear of public toilets.

I hold my pee in so it's never a mere trickle when released. I cannot tell anyone when I have to pee, it has to be an extreme situation before I mention it to anyone, but my boyfriend pees when we're talking on the phone, and when he tells me he has to pee at home or out, it excites me.

I've never felt weird about it. I just say "I have to pee." Talking about... doing #2 is VERY uncomfortable for me, though, so I guess I can kinda understand. But if I'm feeling uncomfortable I just say "I need to use the restroom."

It's a total whatever. People do it. There's nothing to be uncomfortable about when it's stated politely.

I think it's normal to be like that with people u don't know, but ur family, I wouldn't be embarressed in front of them! I just say I have to go! I dint know why some people announce it?! Just go and don't worry about people hearing u it's a natural thing that's what restrooms are for! Sometimes I flush the toilet as I'm going lol! The last thing u ever wanna do is hold it in for a long period of time, cuz u can hurt urself!! ;)
