How to tell boyfriend i want to go on a trip with "ex"?

I have been with my boyfriend for about two years.
About... a year before I got with him, I hooked up with this guy twice. We have been friends since then, he got a girlfriend, I got a boyfriend, and I'm 100% he doesn't have feelings for me, and I dont have feelings for him, after all, it was just sex really.

But i'm not sure my boyfriend will be too keen... and I dont know how to tell him that I want to go, without him being sad or hurt.

I assure you there's no possibility whatsoever i would cheat on him, but he will be away for two months and i wanna have fun and go on holidays too!! But I understand if my boyfriend wanted to go on holidays with a group, including a person hes hooked up with, i wouldn't be too happy.
