How to explain that i'm gay

I've told my mom I'm gay twice, the first time she asked me, the after I told her said I was wrong (in words like your too young to know ect) I told again later and she started again with 'you still don't really know' ect, and I told her that she didn't get to choose. I don't think she's homophobic or anything, just that she doesn't believe me. This has really changed how I view her. I haven't told anyone else except one of my friends. How do I talk to her, and other people? I'm not dating anyone yet, and even if I was, I don't think I could tell them

    Iv never understood the need to tell anyone your sexual affiliation. Most of my friends and family don’t know I’m bisexual. I wouldn’t care if they did know. But I figure unless I’m fucking them it’s not their business. But with that being said. You do you but expect that people are stupid even those that we care about

    Son: I want to let you know that I'm gay, dad.
    Dad: no you're not. Shut up about this and quit trying to piss me off
    Son: Dad, I'm not kidding. I just thought you should know.
    Dad: Enough already! You're not a faggot and I dont want to hear any more.
    Son: storms out in frustration.
    Dad: looks at me and says " I think that boys really going to turn queer one day if he doesn't quit saying this shit"

    She's in denial. You already told her. Twice. I don't know how old you are but I'm assuming high school or so. Tell her you're going out with, so and so, (same gender), she'll eventually get it..
