How to confront a guy i like? (iin?)

I am a male teen in high school, and I have been attracted to guys now for some time. I'm still somewhat attracted to women too. (I have never been with a guy but I had a girlfriend two months ago and we split when I caught her cheating) One guy in particular catches my eye though. We don't really know each other, yet we have the same friends. Sometimes I stare blankly at him and dream about him. When and How should I confront him about my feelings and find out if he is open to the idea of being together?

    There's never the perfect time to tell someone you like them as nerve wrecking as it can be, wearing your heart on your sleeve is frightening. just spit it out if he's into guys and he's into you great if not though it sucks you move on.

    Fear of rejection keeps us all from going after what we want, go after what you want dude & no guts no glory right?

      People are an unruly lot and telling him plainly what he feels is gonna get him hurt.

      If I were him I'd try something like brushing against his shoulder or lingering in his space. Watch how he reacts.

      OP, if you sense discomfort then I'm afraid he's just not into you. But if he doesn't draw back immediately then that's a Positive Sign.

      Do that first before you tell all to a relative stranger.

        Yeah that could work also sometimes telling someone straight up is difficult and they turn you down it's torture but sending him signals and lingering in his space can be misleading if he thinks his subtle advances are welcome when they're not and the actual effort of doing that.

        either way whichever way he tells the person, the result is the same.

    I would make sure that he's interested in guys too, otherwise that could lead to a lot of awkward moments. Then, if he does, start talking to him. Be friends with him first. It's better to regret something you've done than regret something you haven't.

    Just talk to him and tell him, otherwise you'll be having sleepless nights wondering 'what if', and whether he returns your feelings or not. I know it would be difficult since I've been in your situation before. But trust me: sleep is important too.

    Tough move bud, approaching somebody that you like is never easy! Just put things out there and let the cards fall where they may! At least that's how I approach those situations.

    First see if he supports the LGBT community. If not, than you run the risk of getting bullied or harassed.
