How should i make some extra cash?

Hello this is a question of how to make some extra cash. I do have a job but I am not making a lot of cash at my job so I need to know some things to do on the side that may help. Any suggestion at all will be nice. Please do not say anything about "I am a loser and to get a job" since clearly I already have one.I have also been recycling things to make a some extra change so anything beside that. I am selling a few things but I do not have a lot of valuable items to begin with. I also do not have a lot of money to move. So if you say move I want to but not possible at this point. Please and thank you to everyone.

I am not sure 7
I am having the same problem 4
I am sure they have some type of aid(please list if you think so) 0
I have ideas but they are all illegal(if they are do not comment) 10
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

You can make extra money by sucking off homeless dudes behind the train station.

Go to your local library and print coupons, get flyers with coupons from grocery stores. If you have a cell, look for the cheapest plans available- usually straight talk. Go to your local library and google 'government assistance' in your state, then apply for food stamps, financial aid, and/or medicaid on that site. Get a roommate. Shop at dollar stores, thrift stores, and save-a-lot (if that exists where you are). Bike instead of driving. Look into grants for school, via your local library computer. Try to conserve electricity- purchase energy efficient bulbs (expensive, but pays off big time on the bill).

Fyi, I gave you info regarding library computers in case you don't have full access to one all the time.

I'll write more later. Going to sleep.

    • I would get a roommate but I do not have a lot of people I know. Everyone I know is living with a spouse. That is something I am not lucky enough to have. None of the people are I had relationships with are even responsible enough to get a job or care about me enough to live with me. I am not sure how to find a roommate and most of the ones I found are older in ranging from ages 60-80 and are looking for love so that is not a lead I want to take up.

Become a dominatrix. I hear the pay is good, but you'll have to be a legal adult if you want to professionally pursue this.

    • I am a legal adult. Why else would I be on this website? Dominatrix is a person who dominates others in a sexual manner? That is something in the bedroom? How will I get paid?

That's not always the case as there are some minors on here.

^^That should help to clear it up as it certainly did for me.

Take a look at your budget and see where you can cut costs. One of the easiest places to cut back is food costs.

Illegal to sell lemonade, have a yard sale, or a paper route due to un-specified "gummit regulations"? BULL FUCKING SHIT turn off faux news.

Cut costs as much as humanly possible, instead of worrying about more income.<BR><BR>Smoke or drink. Quit cold turkey, that's half of your money problem if you do? Any other vices (vises? no spell-check on mobile... :/ ...) Lottery? Redbox? Netflix? Anything? Trash it, every little bit helps.<BR><BR>Dollar stores are your best friend. Stop going to Walmart to shop, do your research to find the best deal possible. Stop buying name brand junk/food and buy store brand, it's the same stuff in a cheaper package.

(Damn mobile phone ate the rest of my long comment! X_x

PM for more help, I'm a super frugal person. ^_^ )

    Sell lemonade.

    • I do not even think that is legal anymore. Since I do not have a permit. Since they have to label restriction on everything. They can actually sue the kid selling lemonade.

        Really?

Then again, it makes some sense, but a permit isn't going to keep someone from potentially poisoning the lemonade.

        • They also have to go under the health code and have some one check on them every so often.

I was kidding, but I guess the requirement to have a permit is justified health regulations etc.

        • Yes they are crushing any possibility of making money anymore. People use to be able to sell stuff outside and on a lawn but now is must be goverment regulated. It is very difficualt to patent anything anymore and even selling ice cream has become prepackaged. As to having a real scoop of ice cream. You Also use to be able to sell papers at age 12 now that is against the law. So no more learning responsibility or learning the value of a $.

Is there anything that you are good at? For example, if you speak a language other than English, you can tutor in your spare time.

Building off the idea of other languages, the OP could try teaching English as a foreign language. From what I've heard you only need very basic foreign language skills (if any) to teach English to people who don't speak it. It doesn't take up all your time either. I don't know much about teaching English as a foreign language, but given your situation I think it's probably worth doing some research about :)

Also, as everyone else has said, reduce how much you spend if you can.

    Sell your blood.

Can you get paid for donating blood in America? I don't know why I find this so surprising. I'm just not used to the idea of being paid for it.

Plasma, not plain old blood. I did it a few times when I was desperate for cash. It paid around $40 per donation.

Who buys it? Is it the government or, say, private concerns who then sell it on to health care providers? I think this is why I found it odd, because here it would be the NHS and the NHS don't really function as a business.

          • It is private labs and sometimes hospitals buy it. It is either for private lab epirements or for patients.

Private labs collect and buy it, they sell it to hospitals and the hospitals sell it to the patients.

My son had a rare disease (Kawasaki disease) and had to have IV gamma globulin treatments and thankfully I had insurance because that stuff cost a fortune! I hate our health care system.

            • dappled

Makes sense. It's just odd to my ears because I'm not used to healthcare being commercial. The NHS has its problems too, by the way. For instance, the treatment you get may depend on how much money your strategic health authority has. The call it a postcode lottery. Not everybody has the same treatment made available to them despite us all paying the same percentage of our wages.

              Comment Hidden ( show )
        • Explain to me the difference? Do they not take out your blood either way?

          Comment Hidden ( show )
            -
          • LesserKnownCharacter

As your blood is drawn out it goes through this machine that separates out the plasma from the red blood cells and other material. That material is collected and held separately and once you're done with the plasma donation, it is returned to your body. So the difference is, you get some of your blood back! Since the body is able to replenish plasma a lot faster than red blood cells, you're able to donate plasma again within days unlike blood donation where the wait time is quite long.

            • I see. I do not think I would want them to put the blood back in me once they took it if I did do that.

      • Yes you can. However you have to be a particular weight and size. Also you can only give so much a week.
