I’ve asked a few people this and got wildly different answers, so what do you lot think?
At what age do you generally think people should stop hitting the nightclub?

Never. its not about age. It’s about inner youth. If your having a good time that’s all that matters.
It depends on the person. Throw two 40 year olds in a club one might fit in and the other one looks like an old creep.
I think any age is ok, but not necessarily comfortable. Like a confident, free spirited, good hearted, fun loving 58 year old would be welcomed in that environment if they were able to be comfortable in themselves and other people didn’t inflict ageism upon them. The problem with those things is that they’re often perceived through insecurity.
I'd say 50+. Clubs have people in their 40s still all over and no one usually finds it strange. I think over 50 is okay if you're in an over 50 club though which does exist.

Once your out of or heading for out of your 20s, stop the clubs. They're made for people who just turned 21, want to prove they can party, and are centers for incredibly-overpriced drinks. I hear people in their 30s or early 40s talking about club this or that at the sports bar I go to, and think..You need to grow up, settle down or whatever, but, you're too old to be woo-hooing it up at the loud club that, if you thought about it, you can't afford b/c you have responsibilities now and don't live at home to save money.
One woman, who I like a lot and is beautiful and sexy, is into it, then, after she goes, complains about how loud it was, guys grabbing her ass all the time, people spilling drinks on her, cover charges, etc. She's not even 30 yet, and she's tired of it.
All ages can dance to the rhythm of the sweet music. In my culture we sway to all sounds of life especially seashell songs.
I've been a few times as a 36 year old. I respect the age difference so I don't go sleazing on women 15 years my junior. It just leaves you feeling pretty vain and the whole thing seems superficial as an adult, you've already done all that partying as a younger person, as an older person the cynicism etc has crept in (not that I ever totally enjoyed clubs) but you just see them as a glorified room (sometimes not even that) with obnoxiously loud music and overpriced drinks. I don't make any effort to go to clubs, I prefer pubs, but sometimes on big nights I will end up at one and its just that, I feel I have a right to be there like any other paying customer in any establishment if I go there with respect for others. It's just that its tacky now.
